Who am I?
Hey there! I’m Evelien, a passionated traveller, storyteller and the voice behind this blog. Im 30 years old and come from a small country called Belgium.
I started traveling when I was a kid with my parents. When I was in college, I started gradually to travel more with friends and going to a lot of different European countries.
When I graduated I had my first backpacking trip to Colombia to visit my sister, who was living there at the time. I had my return tickets home but decided to go solo for a month to Mexico.
This was one of the best decisions I ever made, I completely fell in love with traveling. I have met the most interesting people, saw amazing ruins, got really into Spanish and relaxed on cristal clear beaches. When my trip came to an end and I had to go back home, I was already dreaming of my next adventure.
I’m from Antwerpen, its a beautiful student city in Belgium.
I am 30 years old.
It’s a difficult choice, but I really fell in love with the charm of Colombia. The people are very friendly, the beautiful landscapes and its diversity.
